Busy week with plenty of fish caught. Tony, Martin and Edwin from Holland were on their third visit to the Beara. Previously Edwin had caught a specimen Spotted ray and although several spotties were caught they did not make the Irish specimen fish weight. Tony made up for it however with a fabulous specimen wrasse just short of 6 lbs (2.7 Kilos) along with several other big wrasse all taken on crab. Martin was looking to break his duck on rays and did it in style with several good thornies up to 8lb.
