        Elinor Fishery July 8th – 14th

88 anglers caught 209 fish of which 104 were returned

        17 fish over 3lb

        Best areas
Bank – dam, east arm, boat bay
        Boat – down the middle

        Best Patterns
dry or wet daddy, black hopper, olive or hears ear cdc, red diawl bach, orange blob, black or white booby

The hot weather continues to make the fishing challenging, especially from the bank.
Boat anglers are getting action by concentrating over the cooler water down the middle. There are some fish moving on the surface with daddies and cdc’s working. Otherwise its worth anchoring off the pylon and fishing deeper with sinking line and boobies or a long leader and buzzers.
Norfolk and Suffolk Flyfishers braved the scorching temperatures on Saturday. Best bag was by Peter Roberts of Wymondham who took 6 fish for 15lb 4oz.
