The first round of the Cob House winter league was held with 10 teams of 4 competing over 6 rounds on the 4 main match pools at Cob House fisheries.
Reasonable weather leading up to the match saw the venue fish extremely well with multiple ton plus weights coming from every pool. Individual winner on the day was Steve Ford with 148-8 coming from Laugherne Island fishing long pole and pellet for an all carp catch – second individual was S. Owen again coming from Laugherne with 132-4 again with an all carp catch. Top weight from Laurel was 105-7, Wyatts 120-0 and Oak pool 129-13.
