Angel of the North Fishery Feb 10th
Fishing in between heavy rain this week and high winds has been interesting if you choose a peg and the fish are shoaled up in front some good catches, if no fish schoaled in front you struggle so choose your peg with care and watercraft
Once onto fish they tighted the shoal and you can have to many fish in your swim and start to foul hook rather than convert the bite, go forward or back of the shoal to just take fish from edge and hey presto you are converting shy bites to catches.
With water temperature so low 3.5deg, keep feed to very little and light tackle baits worked this week have been maggot, caster, sweetcorn, peperami small bits red hot ones, and add heamp, pellet and feed angel pellets also working
