Fishing was much harder on the windy days last week with many areas difficult to fish. However the rod average still reached 4.
Lures are working best during the morning but anglers fishing nymphs from 11.30am onwards are catching well in the more sheltered areas.
Bank anglers continue to catch better than boats although not many anglers went afloat in the poor conditions.
All we need is a few calmer days for the buzzer fishing to take off.
