Turnout looks weak but I cannot recall what it was last year. I always assumed festivals were wait listed but inevitably one or two no shows are thrown up. It makes pegging fair matches difficult with random empty pegs very much in play. That said I think WA adopt a peg two miss one on all lakes so everyone has room, some anglers will get more room.
The obvious consequences are in pay outs which may lead to fewer making the trip down there so not good news at all.
On the plus side the fish seem to be feeding well.
