Richard fished the pole and pellet on two lines at 14m from peg 19, loose feeding 4mm pellets over the top with the catapult landing 103lb14oz of carp – 7lb. In second place Craig fished the pole with pellet out and meat fished down the margin landing carp – 9lb and finishing with a total of 82lb 8oz.

A very good match throughout when you didn’t know who was going to win, but it was Lee Hassett that edged it in the end, starting off on the pellet scoop cast to the island for 5 carp before a change to the pole fished out at 11m and later down the margin with corn and pellet he landed another 20 carp – 9lb for 78lb 15oz just 14oz in front of Andy Lakey fishing the pole and pellet on two lines at 12m for 27 carp – 6lb and 78lb 1oz.

The lake at the moment is in top form for the silvers and 71lb15oz was needed to win, Chris Greensides fished the pole and maggot over ground bait landing over 100 skimmers and Ide – 1lb having a bite every put in he finished with over 25lb to spare, over Andy Lakey fishing the same method for 105 silvers and one 3lb carp.
