Hi Neil Ive recently purchased a signature 800 and have used it on venues where carp run to 15lbs plus without a problem. The new powerlite kits have transformed the overall performance of the pole making it much lighter when fished at distance. However with anything stiffer and lighter there is usually a price to pay, but I have landed carp to 20lb without a problem. The fighting 5 and 6 are ideal for fishing short paste, corn etc when hit and hold is the order of the day but can also be used as part of a longer set up fishing down the margins to provide strength in the middle sections where many poles fail.
