With the changeable weather this last week Ringstead saw many 5lb fish being caught with fish rising through the day and evening.

Weed cutting and removing is in operation and will continue.

Fishermen are reporting back what a wonderful condition fish are being caught and many double figures have been spotted.

Best catches include Mark Cox (photo attached 798) from Northampton caught his limit including 5lb ers and Phil Willmott also from Northampton (photo attached 800) had his limit including fish weighing 5lbs each.

Best flies: Damsel (Gold head), Orange Blob, Red cheek Buzzer.

Best Areas: Willow Bay & Addington Road.
