  Would appreciate your views on a venue for a weeks fishing.
  Ideally have accommadation on site for 15-20 anglers (or very close by)
  Must has a pub (or two) within easy distance.
  Within 2/3 hrs drive of Derby

  The club takes 30 anglers to Viaduct fishery in Somerton, Somerset every July.
  Some stay in lodges at the fishery, some in the pubs in the village, only 5 minutes walk from the fishery.
  Fishing is exceptional. 100lb rarely wins you money. The carp in Carys lake really are scary averaging 10lb and going into the 20’s. Campbells the main match pool is stuffed full of fish.
  Fishery staff are excellent.
  Good Indian in the village, excellent chippy, food and beer at the pubs is great.
  Couldn’t rate a week away fishing more highly.

  Makins or meadowlands stay at longshoot hotel we come down from Manchester twice a year hotel fantastic carvery £3.50 we bring down 40 of us

  Cheers tony. Meadowlands is a fantastic fishery (bits to had on all methods) Really looking for accomadation on-site. Somewere to stock up the fridge and get the BBQ out
