I’m having a horrific problem with line twist while using slider floats from 4-6grms at 30 yards or so using olivettes as bulk. Normal wagglers are fine fished at the same distance. I’ve checked the line roller, changed the line brand (0.22) used a spin doctor and don’t bother with the clutch. The twisting goes from the reel to half way to the float an doesn’t just twist but will get so bad as to form a tiny ‘ball ‘ of tightly twisted line to a large amount of open twists. The problems occur after an hour or two of busy bite a chuck fishing and the line has to be dumped after one session. I have herd that gluing the reels roller may help ? I’m would pull my hair out if i had any. Thanks in advance.
