After much speculation about its possible sale, the management of Fox International has announced a significant investment in the business by Next Wave Partners, an independent private-equity firm with a history of successfully backing management teams and helping to grow the value of their businesses.
The investment will allow Fox to continue its highly successful innovation programme, upgrade and improve customer service and enable the company to accelerate growth into new markets.
Current chairman Cliff Fox will remain a director of the company, while Andy Little, currently deputy chairman, has announced his intention to retire, but will be retained by the company as a consultant.
The current senior management team of Paul Reeves, Shaun McSpadden, Andre Akkermans and Richard Teale will remain with the company and are fully committed to the future development of the business.
Cliff said: “I’m really delighted to be partnering with Next Wave and am looking forward to working together with the company for the continued success of Fox International.”
