Daiwa now do generic sections for the spectron from number 7 down to the number four, Just refurbished a couple of sections on mine and it’s stiffer than ever was thinking of upgrading but will leave it a tad longer, Oh and the price is a fraction of what they were a number seven section £189 from fishermans friend all sections have the silver triangle and I for one can’t tell any difference, I have a daiwa 412 pole in storage and if I refurbish that from the number 7 and bought every section from the number seven to the number four it would only cost £650 and would be stiffer than a G20 am considering doing that then I have a back up pole or could just replace the broken number 6 on the 412.
