        rite guys im not shore witch elestic to get :confused: i have 1 top kit for my silver fishing was thinking about geting preston number 9 hollow i now its perfect for skimmers an bream but is it to heavy for roach??? 🙂

          Loaded question that,and everyone will have a different answer,either a hollow 6-10 or double 4/5 for me

            I tried the 9h for silvers and found it too heavy.
            For me its a solid 5 or 6 with a pulla bung.Thats what i would use for normal silverfish.
            I suppose if the venues you fish hold big skimmers and bream then you might get away with the 9h but as has been said already everyone will have their own ideas based on where they fish.

              I am no expert, but I use double5, or double 6 if there may be carp around.. 🙂

                thanks for the replys , thats a nother option double solid elastic?? ive never tryed it be for wander if a double number 5 would b ok soft anouth for silvers but got the back bone for bream an skimmers

                  ive got middy 4/6 solid if i double that up an put it in top kit do u guys think that will b ok i just dont wana spend £125 on a top kit that will hardly ever get used

                    I have used double 5 for bream, skimmers and roach with no problems 🙂
