  Had 2 matches ruined this week by the idiotic comments of commentator ANDY TOWNSEND for someone who has had the experience of a lifetime in football I am amazed at his lack of insight and knowledge, it was like listening to moronic comments of the uneducated fan I have had the misfortune to occasionally sit next to at away games. I wonder if his contract means he is paid per word uttered , his constant babble is unnecessary.

  Have to agree he is awfull. Had many good matches ruined by his innane ramblings. Running into traffic?? What the hell are you on about? If the other commentator says something sensible, townsend just says-yep.. And adds nothing of any substance. He is, without any doubt, the worse ‘expert commentator’ in the game. I could come up with better comments and observations than him, and I have only ever played,(very badly), at sunday league level..

  Got to say I used to love the sky super Saturday with geof stelling and co just for the entertainment value they beat anything else on tv hands down. 😀
