Despite arriving to the lakes covered with ice this morning, fishery staff managed to clear pegs to have the match as normal. Paul McIntyre edged the overall win with a nice net of skimmers caught on maggot over groundbait and joker.

Following a few days with ice covering the lakes, a few anglers were keen to get out and fish once again today. Andy Oldham made the most of his peg and netted carp on the feeder and silvers on the pole for a nice mixed winning net considering the recent conditions.
