        That they would let us use keepnets for silvers at commercials during the winter am not bothered about putting any carp back but it is nice to see a net of silvers at the end of the day

            You need to make sure that the fishery knows your views. When my 3 kids were younger and we went on holiday to Devon, Cornwall and Lincolnshire the only way I could get them interested in fishing was to have a match, weigh in and give them cash prizes £20, £10, £5 (they were really up for it). Arriving at most empty fisheries midweek and asking if they allowed keepnets when told no I simply drove off and watched as the fishery owner saw 4 day tickets plus snacks, pop etc. drive off the site. Incidentally we always found places that did and had some great times! Funnily enough some fisheries changed their rules and allowed them subject to a charge a few years later.

              Unfortunately we as anglers can not be trusted not to put carp in nets (from a balif at makins )
