        im geting my new box on thursday ive got 3 choices

        diawa 100 box

        preston x65 box

        preston space station xs

        any one had eather to compair 🙂

          I have to say I really like the Daiwa 100, the body of it an the drawer options are really what I needed, looked at it maybe 4 or 5 times….. I just had serious doubts about the foot plate, it looks lightweight, and the locking hand-wheels are they durable?…

          Be interested to know myself if anyone has one?

          Like the Preston range, spend what you can afford….me, I haven’t changed yet, still have my Milo, Tardis…a bit heavy but does what is needed.

            Hi Tench.
            I have the old blue Daiwa Tournament box. Not dissimilar to the 100.
            It has been the best box I have owned. Well made, 100% aluminium build, no crappy plastic bits. Foot plate is fine. Draws top quality. Loads of storage space.
            Only problem is the seat has pretty much fallen apart – difficult to open top draw whilst sitting. But it is 6 years old and I can repair with a little effort.
            If I was to replace I would look at the Quad box or the Daiwa 100. Only problem I have with the 100 is the red colour, bit “in yer face.”

              thanks for the replys 🙂 im guna ave a look aty them in the flesh but im swaying towards the diawa to b honist but need to c all 3 realy an inspect them proply :confused:
