Check out the web site, it seems heavy feeding is the way to go. Bomb, wag or paste with lots of pellets.
I have had big weights off all these lakes this time of year, most methods work.

Make sure you are geared up for the mental fish! Had peg 45 a few weeks ago, fish soup from first pouchfull of pellets, think I fed more pellet wags than pellets! Ended up fishing top two down the edge for the last two hours for a fish a chuck as I just couldn’t get them out on the wag

Heavy gear essential, Island lake lives up to its name, lots of islands, trees in water etc. Think the carp know every snag too!!

Just to give you an idea of how mental the fish are, on about 6 or 7 occasions, cast the wag out and didn’t get chance to get the bail arm over!!!!! Try hanging onto that! As I said earlier, top two down edge probably got me 25lb, to win the match by 2lb
