        Hi looking to bye my new pole got around 8 – 900 looking at the map 501 usually fish max 14.5m occasionally 16m if needed fish mostly commercials any 501 users out there what’s your opinions?
        Good points bad points ? Any views appreciated before I part with my cash .

          Not a bad pole tbf can be fished at 16m , used mine for everything including margins , only trouble I had was the 3-4-5 had small splits on the male end in a very short time so upgraded to the 601 .
          My son had the 501 and still uses it and the splits got no worse and has 200lb+ bags on a regular basis . Tbh there is a rumour that Map are bringing a new range out and the 01 range are quite hard to get hold of did see them for 749 but can’t remember where
