TF_Time TravellerNo Brands Names but…….
My Super 3 metre extendable 3 way landing net handle in Blue……. great stuff 3 options, 1.5 metres, 2.5 metres or 3.00 metres ???
What more can an anglers want ???? This has to be the “Doggies Dodaas”….errrr WRONG!
Every brass ferrule twisted turned or pulled out, no pins to lock them in, then it’s like “my fault”, what you mean you tried to land a 10lb lump with it? It’s not tested to that….. errrr
Anyone else had waste of money experiences?

TF_Time TravellerI wouldn’t waste my money on one of those until I could afford one……. like when I get a Concessionary Fishing Licence use the £9 saving towards it !!!
But Spotter….did she make you pay for it, and you just did it ?
Surely you had more important things to do on that day, like fish the National?

TF_Time TravellerStrange how “Women” got into this, I just gave away to a mate at least 60 floats most never used,
I can’t ever remember spending £60 on ‘er indoors…… so I suppose the floats were a waste of money as well…
Would £60 spend on the woman have been better value for money……. I will never know…

TF_dirkdigglerOne word for you CHINA.
It didn’t seem to matter when Chinese stuff was cheap and crap because that was the choice you made however now there doesn’t seem to be a choice anymore and the cheap crap is now the only choice and as expensive as the next thing.
My 2 latest are a Humminbird fishfinder…. worked brand new out of the box but when I got to Holland it didn’t work.
Then Samsung Galaxy s6 edge…..screen cracked on it’s own and it won’t charge up anymore….and it’s my fault apparently…..utter utter shheeiitte.
Don’t know what the solution is….probably stop buying stuff and go and live on the allotment. -

TF_Double BlankTrouble is we “Demand” cheap product, only the discerning among us are prepared to pay top dollar for good gear.
But as Dirk says its all “Made In China” anyway so there are no guarantees whatever the price….BUT if you pay good, average or little money your consumer rights still apply.
Brits are great at moaning but not so good at complaining or doing something about it. However no more, I have had enough of the poor gear & poor service, if it’s CRAP its going back. of course you allow a reasonable time span on that, not sure how long but if it falls apart in 6 months they can have it. I suppose my fishing in 6 months is like the average anglers 2 years so a fair time I think.
If you decide Not to Complain then you only have yourself to blame, they just keep trying to flog you it again and again. Only place you have a chance is to hit them in their wallets. Unfortunately your local dealer is in the firing line often he is your mate as well as you spend a bit with him.
But most will do the right thing and send it back especially if you claim from him.
Is there a solution… “BUY BRITISH”….. and where would that be like….and could we afford it if you did.?
