Fishing at local lake 3 guys the other side starting packing up noticed them dragging nets out of lake loading contents into net bags. I legged it round lake and told them if they didn’t put fish back would call the police they did put fish back without a word spoken number of carp between 12-20 probably up to 10 pounds.
All the guys were English in a works van obviously with tanks in back took phone number of van of company so what do I do report the guy and run the risk of losing his job or just be happy the fish were returned and hopefully guy learned a lesson.?????????
        Your Thoughts !!

          Nice work matey!

Sod their jobs – if they do the crime they are prepared to do the time.

Hope you took the vehicle number plate as a back-up?

Report it to the Environment Agency. If they trace the van with the tanks still in the back they may be able to do something about it.

              You have to report them.

They will think they have had a lucky escape – THIS TIME!!! maybe next time you won’t be there.

Ring Environment Agency – that is what we pay our licence fees for.

No brainer – cant believe that you have to dilemma the situation to be honest – just get on the blower and report it.
