        REPORT

MOLANDS It has been very patchy on Molands through the week with the F1’s only showing on a few pegs as the carp have not shown at all. Pole fished maggot down the margins has been the most consistent method but long pole with expander pellet or maggot has also been catching a few. Top pegs have been 2, 8, 10, 15, 23, 29, 43 – 45 and 56 – 60.

GEARYS Catches have dropped from last week but carp to double figures are still showing on areas to the pellet waggler or bomb and pellet. The silver fish are showing well with bream to 3lb and plenty of skimmers around the 1lb mark coming to pole fished pellet or caster over ground bait. Best pegs have been 1, 6 – 11, 16, 20, 27, 30 – 32 and 36.

LITTLE GEARYS F1’s to 4lb and skimmers to 2lb have been making up the nets this week with maggot, caster or hard pellet all catching plenty of fish. Pole or waggler and spraying maggots are working well at the moment with the F1’s coming shallow to this. The other tactic that is doing well is to fish just down the first shelf on the pole. Top pegs 7 – 12, 21 and 24 – 28.

WILLOW A small feeder or waggler fished to the island is working best with maggot or banded hard pellet on the hook. F1’s to 3lb and carp to 3lb have been the main target but the odder bigger carp to 10lb have been caught this week.

SIBLINGS A This pool is a little patchy but fishing well on some areas with carp to 6lb providing the bulk of the action. Long pole with pellet or corn over micros is the top tactic and pegs 1, 7, 19 – 21 are best.

SIBLINGS B Lots of bites on all pegs with F1’s in the 8oz – 1lb range providing the main sport with the odd tench and bigger carp. Mostly pellets fished to the far bank but maggots are starting to work well on here too.
