        November 9th – 15th

78 anglers caught 195 fish of which 161 were returned.

        Best Fish
Rainbow 3lb 10oz David Phillips, Louth, damsel
Brown 4lb 15oz Finbarr McSweeney, Rushden
Brown 4lb 2oz Paul Dunstan, Towcester, float tube

        Best Areas
Bank – brookside, dam, boat bay
Boat – east arm, pylon point, dam

        Best Patterns
candy fab, tequila fab, small hares ear, cruncher, red diawl bach, black/green or white/green lure.

Not many anglers ventured out in the wet and windy conditions. However with the mild weather, boat anglers caught well over open water. In the SW winds bank anglers concentrated on the brookside bank.
Best method has been a fab on the point with small nymphs on the dropper fished very slowly.
When colder temperatures finally arrive more fish will move into the margins, usually at the lodge end.
