Hello mate,Ive had the sig 800 for about a year now,and its been superb,comes with good spares package,to which i added a few spare short 4,s,and 3 short/shallow kits…The pole is a lot stronger than the previous Match this range…Very light,stiff and straight,excellent at full length..Top kits are superb,as is black suncore finish…I would imagine the 900 is even better,as you know it also comes with the 5 and 6 fighting sections,so you can also set up a margin pole out of it….I havent seen the Darkside poles,so cant comment,i think they are a replacement for the Elite carp series…Gazza 🙂

Definately a beefed up version mate,but i know Callum Dicks uses the top end Darkside pole as an all rounder,and he fishes canals,rivers,natural lakes,commies etc,and he could have a sig 1000 ,if he wanted it!…I guess the darkside range are probably more durable,although will prob be slightly heavier..I fish mainly for F1,s ,and smallish carp,although a couple of venues i match fish do contain bigger fish,and ive had no problems…In winter,i regularly need to fish 14.5-16m,and the sig 800,is great for that…Ive only ever broken one number 4 section in the time ive had it,and that was through my own stupidity,good luck choosing mate,Gazza 😀 😀
