        REPORT

MOLANDS The changeable weather of the past week has seen the fishing a little more patchy but weights to 100lb in matches have been caught and if you are on the fish you will have a very good day. Maggot feeder with double red maggot on the deck has accounted for F1’s to nearly 6lb and a few carp up to 8lb. Waggler and pellet up to the island is also catching well, particularly around any weed beds on the island. Top pegs 2, 12, 25, 42 – 48 and 54 – 60.

GEARYS Bomb and bread are accounting for the better carp with fish to 15lb caught this week fishing out to the middle stumps. Decent nets of silvers to be had from most areas with plenty of skimmers showing in the 8oz – 1½lb range and a small cage feeder or pole and pellet with maggot over ground bait has been best for these.

LITTLE GEARYS A little harder this week with nets to 50lb best. Maggot feeder is still the most consistent tactic again. Pole and pellet or maggot is also working well and the top areas have been the far bank from 7 – 15.

WILLOW Some good nets of carp are being caught by fishing bread or corn down the edges with fish up to 12lb caught this week. A small waggler or maggot feeder to the island is also catching F1’s and small carp.

ANNIVERSARIES The hot spot on Anniversaries is the bay at the top end with F1’s, carp, ide and roach all showing well there. The pole fished pellet, maggot or caster fished over micros is working well.

SIBLINGS A This pool fished well with plenty of F1’s, carp, ide and skimmers being caught. Pole fished pellet or maggot across to the island is the best approach with pegs

        1 – 9, 13 and 19 – 21 best.
