Ringstead has some good and important news to tell all anglers, regarding the yearly weed that seems to appear each year.
My sincere thanks go to Nick and Ryan for all their help, with the weed cutting and lifting, they have done an excellent job by conquering the problem. Fishing is great again with anglers catching up to 10 a piece.
Those who did excel were:
Ian Astell (Northampton – Half Day) catching 3 at 2 and a half lbs each.
Nigel Cheatham (Oundle) catching 15 trout weighing almost 3lbs a piece.
Mike Wibberley (Northampton) a limit bag of 5 weighing 2 and a half to 3 lbs and releasing 4.
Max Davis (Southampton) caught 3 fish at 3lbs a piece.
David Banker (Luton) catching 5 at 2 and a half to 3 lbs a piece.
Michael Darby caught 20 trout at 2 3/4 to 3 lbs a piece
Mr Beattie (Beds) caught 13 trout releasing 7.
