Message from John O’Driscoll. He’s spoken to Roy and in light of the recent events at the Glebe and the uncertainty as to when the various test results will be received by him the decision has been taken to cancel our event to allow people to cancel hotel bookings, bait orders, etc.
Obviously the decision was not taken lightly and is disappointing for all of us but the fishery needs time to get itself sorted with a clean bill of health and we must remember that it is also a members’ water so their needs have to be recognised as well.
Ours is one of many matches that have been cancelled so we’re not the only ones to miss out !
John will be sorting out refunds as soon as possible but he’s working in Scotland at present and is due to go away on holiday in the next few days so please be patient.

I’m sure you’ll all join me in wishing Roy the very best of luck with the outcome of the tests as the Glebe is one very special venue, particularly for TF’ers, many of whom have fished our annual festival now for over 10 years with a few diehards like myself who were in from the very beginning.
