        Looking for a 12ft waggler rod for winter carp so looking for a softish action that will work with 0.12 dia lines.any ideas?? All I see is 12ft pellet waggler rod which I think will be too heavy

          Any match rod should be fine with lines of 0.12 (3lb line).

            Have a look at the Drennan Match Pro Ultralight 12ft.

            More of a silverfish rod but will be OK for winter carp.

              ive got two of the match pro ultralights great rod for silvers and more than up to the job of winter carping 🙂

                  there is one rod that you should try to track down, the shakespear odessa gold.
                  i know that it is an old rod but when it was new on the market the review was great and the 12foot was the pick of the bunch. i have got the 13foot and still not thought about replacing it.
                  if you can find one hidden in some dark corner of a shop buy it i promise you won’t regret it.
                  i have landed 8lb carp with it on 2lb main line, although it was a bit under gunned.
