        has anyone fitted the new bushes with 2 hole(one for thick elastic, one for thin). i can see the advantages, all top sections the same.

        is it a gimick or are they worth their salt?

        anyone got any views on them?

          cant see how it could work coz if you match your line to your elastic say for example 3 elastic to 0.08 hooklength for small fish then you hook a 6 pound carp and the number 10 elastic comes out you are more likely to bust your hooklegth with the heavey elastic than with the light one so i cant see the point but that is just my opinion

            apparently the bush has 2 holes in it, one for elastics upto 10 the other upto size 20. the top kit is threaded with 2 different elastics. only one will have a rig on at any one time.
            the idea is to save on the number of top kits needed. not to create a versatile top kit. it is marketed by maclin.

            first saw them as freebies on a fishing mag in a newsagents. curiocity has got the better of me and wondered if any one on here has got one or seen them.

              malcin double bushes have beem out a long time but have never realy took off.i see no reason why yoy cant use 1 sise on its own but as shallow master says it was first desined to be set up with the small elastic coming out first then the bigger kicking in after the small has come out so far,but you then heve the problem of balancing the rig to the top kit

                apart from it being a bad idea I do think pole tops with pulla bungs have absolutely killed this stone dead
