        ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap I nearly fell off the rocking chair this morning when i heard the following statement on the TV.BBC1
        These are not the exact words,but perhaps one of the IT lads can post a link.
        “Its not all doom and gloom.We still have a Brit in the quarter finals at Wimbledon,and we are Champions in ANGLING”……Blimey lads,we have lift off me thinks. ~shh ~shh ~shh ~shh ~shh ~shh

                There was a mention of England winning the ‘World Freshwater Angling Championship’ on BBC Breakfast at around 7.30 ish on Monday too

                  It was mentioned on Breakfast TV yesterday morning just after 0600, but again only in passing. I mentioned it at work today and someone said that they had heard it on Sky News.
