Croatian Prologic team members, Danijel Gaspar & Mario Bacic landed a new Croatian national common carp record of 29.27kg, during the fifth Memorial “Marijan Cernos” international carp fishing competition, thought to be the world’s biggest arp ever caught during a tournament.
The mighty common helped Danijel & Mario to second place overall out of 33 teams from Croatia, Austria and Germany.
The fish took DDbait Crustacean 14mm boilies, made with Crustacean Flavour and DD’s Salmon Oil for hook bait fished over a large area of scattered freebies at 4am.
The rig was a C1 hook tied to Reptilian skin braid fished on Prologic’s running rig system.
It seems the magical 30kg barrier will soon be broken in Croatia!
