An excellent week at Ringstead Grange with an average of 4 half per rod.
The float Tubers enjoyed the peace and tranquility last Sat with a good crowd turning up from all over the country.
Most caught their limits of 4, 3 and 2 half pounders which include
Martin Mayes (Doncaster) 5 @ 3lbs
Steve Frakes (Chesterfield) 5 @ 2 half pounds
Rick Dunnett (Cambridge) 5 @ 3 pounds a piece
Darren Lee (Essex) a brace at 4 lbs plus 3 at 2 half pounds
Evening Tickets ;
Steve Marsh 3 @2 half pounds (Norwich)
Mike Wibberley (Milton Keynes ) a couple of 3 pounders and another at 2 half pounds
Boats are slightly a better option although the bank is fishing well
Best flies of the week ;
Buzzers, Cruncher, Montana, Damsels. Yellow and orange Blob and Diawl back
Best Areas:
Sand Bank, Willow Bay, Lodge Front for bank fishing and the boats doing well across the middle
From June 1st a catch and release ticket can be purchased from the lodge for £10 which is for Evening only
Weed Cutting and Lifting is still in progress
Stocking takes place again this week and well over £800 is in Place for the angler who catches a Tag Fish
