Just wanted to introduce myself as I’m new to the forum. I feel as though I’m new to fishing too as I’ve not fished in about 10 years but keen to get started again.
I have dusted off the old rods reels etc and bought a fair bit of end tackle, still need a few more things before I find that swim though.
I live by the coast in the North East a little north of Newcastle. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of coarse fishing here but enough for little old me.
I caught my first fish on a float and float fished ever since turning to the ledger when the water demanded. I never got into the carp session scene as I was and still am addicted to the bob and wobble and slide of a waggler. Even though I’ve not fished that’s a sight and feeling that never leaves you.
Great to meet you all, I look forward to reading your hints and tips hopefully you’ll get me fired up back into a pleasure I have left for too long.
