HOPEFULLParticipantIf you have one of the floating islands to fish to, clip up a pellet wag 2′ short and fish 2′ deep so it falls down the wall of the island. Lots of ways to catch and there are some real munters in there so don’t go too light! Paste and meat at 6m and margins later on, as said the carp go up to 25lb+ so be ready if they are feeding! I am there this Sunday on Hoskers, when are you fishing? This is their link to website, check match results for what’s working at the mo and good luck.

TF_GALPSThe pegs to draw are;
1,2,4,5,7,9,14,19,21,30,36.
I won a couple of weeks ago on peg 36, feeding 4mm meat to the corner of the island and down the edge for 97lb 10oz.
if you draw a peg with an island to throw to, fish the pellet waggler to the corner ( as tight as you can ) feed the fishery 8mm pellet and dont fish lighter than 0.18 as the fish here can run big.
the fish arent quite on the 5mtr line yet so feed a pole line at 10-12mtrs with meat or pellets on the deck and keep the feed going in on your margin line. if you draw with a spare peg on one side feed to it! Fish double 6mm meat over the top.
if you want to ring me on 07974314154 after the draw and i will tell you how to go on dependong what peg you have drawn.
Thanks

TF_GALPS7th mate with just 52lb 10oz.
peg 43 so not a great draw.
90lb odd won it.
it fished a bit hard, even anglers on point only weighed about 60 – 70lb odd.
Caught mainly on feeder to island but after 2/3 fish they were backing off.
Caught shallow in last hour at 12mtrs
When you going again mate?

TF_GALPSOn Hoskers you could really do with an end peg.
Pegs 1, 26, 27, 13, 15, 16-18 are good pegs.
I fish meat over feeding 4mm meat and fish 1 or 2 6mm pieces on the hook.
You can use caster but you will get bitted out with blade fish and ide.
feed a margin swim with pellets and or meat and fish pellet, meat or paste over the top.

HOPEFULLParticipantHow did you get do AJ’s pelletpump? We struggled BIG time on Hoskers! 15lb won it off peg 13 and about 7 was second (5lb bream cleanly hooked under the armpit!) most of us were struggling for a bite! Something not right there as couldn’t even get a few bits on maggot! About a foot down and a very funny colour, green but clear.~think
