Alders is fishing well, usual Chop worm and caster for the Ide fished long up to Island, and also up in the water. Just recently been stocked with stocky carp and these are been caught on sweetcorn, meat and pellet. All depends on what pegs you are on, and where you draw, to how to approach your peg.

In the wides up the cafe side straight around the peg 16 area, always a good Ide area, but winner can come off any peg if it`s fished right. I`m down there Sunday mate, give me a shout when you draw and I`ll get Mark Clavert or Josh Newton to sort you out. Both are good at fishing Alders. No mate , you don`t have to use fishery pellets, and theirs no limtts on baits either. Take chop worm and caster, meat, corn, pellet. Me and Andy Dargue went for a mess around Sunday night after the open and fished method feeder up to the island. We both caught carp, barbel, Ide and Skimmers on corn. Plenty of bites!! That was off the backstraight Pegs 31 and 32.
