Back in September 2012 I started garnering all the results. Sadly, having downloaded many from the Angling Trust site going back the previous 10 years I had my hard drive crash and lost what I had got. More recently I have been helping John Essex put together a full list for a book on the history of the Nationals. Unbelievably the Angling Trust do not have a full list and the NFA lost a lot of their paperwork prior to joining the AT. Whilst Angling Times do have the results they are in published papers not available as a list and Angling Times are unlikely to spent the couple of months it would take to put the results together. John and I have been working on this for months and are slowly getting a complete list. We still have a few to get and it amazing where and how we have found the results. I used to keep Angling Times if it was a National but still have some missing years. We found some in the old Angling Plus/Match Angling Plus and are still looking for 1993 – 95 and a few more recent ones. If anyone can help please say so. If you have Angling Plus 1993-95 it only needs the time to whizz through July to December for each of the three years. We need – no. of teams, Ind. Winner, Ind. winner team, winning team, winning team points, venue.
Also looking for more on 2003(2), 2004(3), 2005(3), 2006(1&3), 2007(1,2,3), 2008(3). Year with division in brackets). We are nearly at the stage where John can narrow down the search in Angling Times using their archives. Any help much appreciated!
