As some of you are aware chris has taken himself out of the match scene due to bad health over the past couple of years,but hopefully he will be back with us all once the surgeons have had there way with him.I feel sorry for them bloody female nurses!!!!

He goes in hospital on the 5th may for a hip operation and some spinal work…..

Now im sure we all miss the miserable sods moaning at at the Glebe and other matches so i just wanna say..

Get well soon chris and hopefully see you on the bank in August ~clap

Many thanks for everyones kind words and thoughts.

It has not been the best 6 months, I had to have surgery for skin cancer, which went well and now this, at least I will get a shiney new hip out of it.

Although I am gutted to be missing my beloved Glebe Fest, and my dear friend Duanes memorial match, as we all know our health comes first.

Be warned I will be back out on the bank as soon as I can, and hope to make up for lost time.

Just a quick update on the old sod……..

Operation went fine but he`s feeling very tender and giving the morphine some hammer,there hoping to to start him on physio asap hoping they can get rid of him quickly.~sick

I never stayed on the phone too long as he wanted to watch Eastenders lol…..
