Saturday and Sunday 16th and 17th Jan 2015 opens
Temperature went down to -4 overnight and froze the lakes , dropped water temp to 2 deg , even anglers cutting ice and fishing in -2 had major problems with icing up where they had cut to fish, keeping an open piece of water was almost impossible . Best out in extreme weather conditions was Ray Laing with 6lb 2oz on peg 5 Lookout island on Saturday .
May I say what a hardy bunch of anglers well done Ray and well done everyone who tried to fish in such terrible freezing conditions, must admit I prefer the warmth of Tenerife xxx
