        Another week of cold, wet, hail, snow and north and east winds- just what coarse anglers do not want.

        Water temperature rose to 5.1 deg by Friday and dropped to 3.1 by Sunday with all the frost, hail, and snow with cold NE winds anglers fished in very poor conditions with temperatures dropping to zero during the day but with wind chill felt like –5 .

        Yet fish were caught on Bowes Tench, Ide as well as perch and good Carp all were caught and on Lookout perch (ready to spawn) ide, carp, roach were all caught , whilst on Bassetts carp, rudd, roach and ide have caught .

        Conditions- overnight rain, then frost then hail and snow, sunny, then hail, snow , horrible day, ambient temperature 0 deg but feels like –4, wind E 16 mph with gusts to 25 mph, barometer 1012.9, moon phase waning crescent, water temp dropped to 3.1deg, PH 8.12, DO 12.6
