Fishing is still going strong despite dropping water temperatures. This week has seen some cracking catches with Richard Wildman fishing on peg 3 on bowes took a good mix of carp and silvers fishing chopped worm and caster pellet is also fishing well for both carp and silvers. On look out lake carp are still being caught in the margins using paste or pellet and meat as a change bait if the fish are backing off maggot is also working well for both carp and silvers.
On bassets Ide, silvers and rudd and roach can be caught shallow on maggot and using pellet on the bottom is also working well to catch lots of carp
On all lakes the clarity of the water is slowly clearing so remember to sit well away from the waters edge on your peg
