  Anglers could be limited to catching one sea bass a day by the European Commission as part of its efforts to prevent overfishing. The Commission warned that stocks were in “rapid decline” and could be “on the verge of collapse” but an angling group insisted that commercial, rather than recreational, fisherman should be targeted. Sea bass has seen rocketing demand by restaurants in recent years and is a popular catch for anglers. But enthusiasts breaking the one-fish limit could be fined if the change is approved for 2015…

  Not sure if that’s such a great plan. Who thinks up these things. 😡 There is better ways to regulate fish stocks instead of pinning it on to recreational anglers.

  Over the last thirty five years the sea fishing have been in decline and is still going that way .
  
  Even if things change now it will take a decade before sea anglers see the benefits .
  
  Things are not good and need to change . Just go down to the local fish markets and see the size and type of fish that are being sold ..
  
  Most things are farmed now not wild . :confused:
