Does anyone know the point system for the angling times county champs??

points awarded for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

Its in the angling times every week!! The points vary depending how many are on the match.

10-20 pegs

1st= 8 points
2nd= 7 points
3rd= 6 points
4th= 5 points
5th= 4 points
6th= 3 points
7th= 2 points
8th= 1 point

21-50 pegs

1st= 16 points
2nd= 14 points
3rd= 12 points
4th= 10 points
5th= 8 points
6th= 6 points
7th= 4 points
8th= 2 points

51 pegs+

1st= 24 points
2nd= 21 points
3rd= 18 points
4th= 15 points
5th= 12 points
6th= 9 points
7th= 6 points
8th= 4 points

apparently my name appears in 3 counties lol

guy in yorkshire area appears 2ce

its a good idea but think it needs a bit of fine tuning

the admin side alone must be a monster job

does anyone know if there is any prize for topping your county table at the end of the season? Im sure i read something in last weeks paper about a holiday~think I know about the whole top 20 go into a fish off thing, but thought there must be some prize for the top 3 in each county table or something?
