Angling Trust Wyvern Region Open (January 8th)
Head to the traditional fishing village of Beesands, Devon, on the 8th January for the Angling Trust Wyvern region’s shore open. Nestled in the idyllic South Hams countryside, this historic fishing village has a wonderful stretch of beach and is a great place to visit for some relaxing fishing!
Date: Sunday 8th January 2012, daytime, shore, not pegged but stewards available.
Registration: at the Cricket Inn, Beesands from Noon, end markers on the beach from 11am.
Fishing Times: 2pm to 7pm, fish at Beesands or Slapton near the small town of Torcross. Top prize of £150, prizes to 12th place.
Entry Fee: £8 seniors, £6 juniors
