The R.Yare does it again, top 4 all have over 40lb and every section except one has over 30lb and that one was won with 26lb. 54 anglers fished and I was 13th with 33lb 5oz. 32 weights over 20lb and these are mostly skimmers and roach not slabs.
Water clarity was 8 inches at the start with the weather mild and overcast and an ebb tide all day the conditions were perfect for skimmers. The big roach are still about as well.
1st Robert Hubbard, Diawa Angling Direct – 48lb 7oz of bream and skimmers some on the pole feeder and some on the tip from peg 63
2nd Mark Pollard, no not him him another one, 44lb 9oz in the 80’s
3rd Nigel Knights, Peg 28 42lb 5oz
