Any Drayton knock-ups yet?.

  Not been well for a while,and TBH still not right,but that’s life eh?…..
  
  Just wondering if anyone had started the Drayton knock ups yet,if so,can they please add my name to the list,seeing as from March,the other half will be on maternity leave for 6 months,which gives me an open match calendar to an extent………..
  
  Would love to get back down there again,and hopefully manage to break my virgin ton weight…

  Not sure whats going on with Drayton this year, as the last i heard was they were banning keep nets, which eliminates matches, unless you have a team of scales men that are not fishing, then catch, weigh, release etc, which would be a nightmare if you and others are bagging.
  
  The match group i fish with, have Drayton booked twice but there is a big question mark over the booking as we don’t know what the keep net rules are.
  
  Any other clubs have Drayton booked for 2010 and can shed some light ??

  When you say you have not been well and you also say the mrs is having a baby, you have obviously got a bad back from spending to long in bed mate!

  IMO i wouldn’t waste my time at Drayton, I used to love the place but its full of bivvy boys with 2 rods and bite alarms, I think you will catch more fish and end up with a bigger weight at Boddingtons Reservoir about 12 miles away.

  Sounds like Drayton has gone to the darkside BM,shame,I thought the place was lovely,but,if needs must,Bodds’ it is…………..

  one of my brothers was down there last week for 3 day,he is a bivvy boy.he said there were a few on,but only anglers from the darkside/bivvy boys. they are taking over. i like a bit of carping myself but 3 days and no bath.
