Wayne, pm OneTrick off here (TF), he is putting alot of time in at Larford at the moment, in fact he is there today!
He is seeing it through the cold months and when i was talking to him the weekend, he was saying how they are starting to move abit now.
I’m sure if you were to ask him, he will help you out.
he also he had a thread up last week about feeders and hook lengths which had some good info replies on it, i’ll see if i can find it for you.

we went on the match lake last week.
i had around 50-60lb on expander pellets at 13 metres, very small method feeder at around 30 turns kept having to change hookbaits a lot to keep the bites coming though.
then had 8 carp in a row out of the margins up to 7lb on meat.

if you wanna pm me nearer the date i will give you some upto date info the trouble is at the moment like all venues things are gonna change a fair bit over the next 3 or 4 weeks dont get me wrong its fishing ok considering the weather we have had. its just im pretty sure things wiil be differnt when your match is on!
