He is described as “once legendary”.

I’ve not come across this before. In my experience legendary status, once gained, is infinite.

Perhaps there’s a new government quango, chaired by someone like Baroness Scotland, with the power to revoke such an attribute?

was going too ,but its shot up in price beyond what i’d pay .and i’ve a dozen or so centrepins so i’ll survive without it ,it is a good one though so should fetch a decent amount .currently a third of the cost of a new one .
