Taking advantage of a quiet day on the lake Martin Tremlett ran this match with only pole or float fishing allowed, sixteen anglers took part.
Young Evan Pallett, fishing his first open match on the lake drew form peg seventy by the playground, where he fished four millimetre pellets on the long pole for ten good bream and lots of skimmers for a 62lb 1oz catch and top spot.
Next door on peg 71 well known Redditch angler Chris Styler took second place, fishing in similar style to the winner, it was all skimmers for Chris who finished with an excellent 56lb catch.
Organiser Martin Tremlett took third spot, Martin had a slow start but finished strongly taking skimmers on meat from peg two for a 35lb return ahead of Starlets team man Joe Roberts with 31lb of skimmers on his favourite chopped worm and caster method.
