hiya i was just wondering about how aston fishery is fishing i think we are on the stable lake and just what kind of depths and the best tactics at the minute

average depths of around 5 foot!!!
top 2 plus 2 fished shallow with maggot usually gets a good net of silvers,, you will need about 4 pints to last a match!
micro pellets with a 4mm over the top works for skimmers but you do have to draw on em!
choppy and caster on the deck is doing ok too!
you could try pellet and or meat up in the water for carp but again they do have to be infront of you,,, as with most places they usually follow the wind!!!
pellet wag can work if you can see em out infront of you
or pellet cone if its a bit windy!!!

i finished up with 48lb for 1st mainly ide and a carp about 8lb was a good days fishing really enjoyed it good breakfast aswell

i was thinking about fishing the lanta pond was just checking if it is fishing any good ??
